Catalog description

This course provides a survey of the theory and research in the field of clinical psychology related to children and adolescents. More specifically, the seminar explores: the diagnostic characteristics of the major types of child psychological disorders, the etiology of each disorder from the different theoretical perspectives, and effective approaches to treatment and prevention. Open to senior psychology majors. Permission of the instructor required for junior psychology majors.
