Catalog description

How do we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell? What about individual differences? This course explores basic sensory mechanisms and perceptual processing, including color, depth, pattern, and motion perception. An experiential learning component facilitates student comprehension of individual differences in sensation and perception. Students will also complete an integrative final project to reinforce their understanding of the vast range of sensory and perceptual concepts addressed throughout the course.
