Catalog description

Politics majors work as interns in a variety of public and private sector positions in the nation's capital, giving them the opportunity to experience governmental problems firsthand and apply what they have learned. Students may earn up to nine credits for working as an intern, and may also take one or two classes (three credits each) that count toward the politics major or general electives. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Enrollment by departmental permission only.
