Catalog description

This course presents an in-depth study of human anatomy and advanced physiologic principles as they relate to nurse anesthesia practice. An overview of cellular physiology and function is presented. Special attention is placed on the cardiovascular, respiratory and renal systems, as well as the normal neuro-endocrine response to stress. Tests of respiratory and cardiovascular function are reviewed and their analysis discussed. 42 theory hours.
