Role Reflective Practice for MSN-DNP Students

This online module course introduces reflective practice, portfolio development, and health policy for the Doctorate of Nursing Practice student. The methods, processes, applications, benefits, and limitations of reflection and reflective practice are examined. Advanced practice roles of expert clinician, collaborator, educator, teacher, consultant, advocate, researcher and manager are addressed through exemplars of reflective praxis. Students identify and analyze a health policy issue and develop strategies to influence the political process toward change. 14 theory hours.
