This course provides a deep dive into several key HR areas important for those entering this field: Equal Employment Opportunity legislation/regulation, Strategic Staffing (strategies, recruiting and selection practices), HR Analytics, and Performance Appraisal approaches and trends. The course will also cover a few critical entry-level competencies needed for the HR professional, as well as review how HR models, roles, and functions operate in various types of organizations. We will seek to cover career paths and roles within various companies, from small start-ups to global Fortune 100 firms.
