This Magis Core literature course is designed to connect, re-connect, or introduce students to the joys of reading for fun. We will explore the factors that motivate people to read for pleasure; the environments conducive to reading for pleasure; the principles, platforms, practices and pedagogies that support reading for pleasure; and the kinds of literary texts people enjoy reading for pleasure.
