Catalog description

This course, the first in a two-semester sequence, provides an introduction to the current policies and practices of effective school library programs. Candidates will examine the professional skills, dispositions and responsibilities related to the roles of the school library media specialist as defined in AASL standards: instructional partner, teacher, information specialist, program administrator and technology leader.
