Administrative Leadership II

Catalog description

This course examines administrator leadership in education related to educator evaluation and supervision at the district and school levels. Topics include defining effective practice, goal-setting, observations, feedback, supervision, and professional learning for educators. Connections are emphasized between individual educator evaluation and building the collective capacity of a school and district, aligned to continuous improvement plans and leading to improved student learning outcomes for all students. Candidates also deepen understanding of the use of assessment data to inform supervision and evaluation and the continuous improvement of programs in a district and school.
