This course introduces fundamental techniques for collecting, preprocessing, and transforming data for business analytics and AI applications. Students develop hands-on skills in modern data processing and data mining, with an emphasis on feature engineering—both traditional and multimodal. The course explores how to convert raw data into meaningful, analyzable forms that power advanced analytical and machine learning models. Key topics include handling diverse data types, integrating information from multiple sources such as text, images, and videos, and applying methods for data acquisition and cleaning.
