Special Topics: Interpersonal Theory of Suicide

Catalog description

This course on the Interpersonal Theory of Suicide and its application will be taught with the use of case studies with potential suicide risk. The objectives of the course are to recognize the components of a suicidal client and define a crisis, to critique alternative suicide assessments using this theory, to conduct a decision-tree interview, and to implement evidence-based crisis interventions.
