Catalog description

This course will provide an overview of eating disorder diagnosis, treatment, and prevention from a counseling perspective. Emphasis will be placed on a comprehensive approach to evaluation of clients, considering family systems, sociocultural issues, and gender values. Best practices in integrated, team-based treatment approaches will be discussed.
