This course provides an introduction to the counseling profession, professional counseling in particular, including but not limited to history, roles and responsibilities, interdisciplinary teams, advocacy, consultation, collaboration, leadership, professional organizations, basic counseling knowledge and skills, and service delivery models, record keeping, and reimbursement.
