Prerequisite: None. This course offers an in-depth examination of policies and procedures relevant to repair shop operations, equipping students for entry-level positions in the automotive repair industry. Key topics covered include: customer communication, familiarization with basic hand and measuring tools, as well as safe lifting and jacking practices, service information utilization, chemical safety, parts ordering, tire repair, basic welding, work order completion, and maintenance procedures. By the conclusion of the course, students will possess the foundational skills and knowledge necessary to thrive as competent and effective employees in a repair shop environment.
