Catalog description
Prerequisite: AUTO 104 with a grade of C or higher. Corequisite: AUTO 104. Theory of operation, diagnostics and troubleshooting, repairing and servicing of brakes will be taught, as well as modern anti-lock brakes and traction control systems. The diagnosis and repair of both drum and disc systems will be explored, including the fabrication of brake lines as a student project.
