This foundational public health course examines the social determinants of health through the lens of theories, concepts, and models. Theory and models serve as cornerstones for health education and public health interventions. You will have the opportunity to learn theories of individual, interpersonal, community, and group health behavior and to apply what you learn to realistic scenarios. You will also learn strategies for leveraging technology and social media in creating evidence-based and culturally resonant behavioral health interventions. View Sample Syllabus
