Catalog description

This course provides the mathematical foundations for information technology and other technology fields. Topics covered in this course include logic, relations, functions, recursion, induction, set theory, patterns of inference, elementary combinatorics, algorithm complexity, and graph theory. Applications of discrete structures such as social network analysis and/or language modeling are also introduced and discussed in this course. View Sample Syllabus
