Next, you will move to a Breakout Session where you will hear your discipline-specific expert relating the modules topic to your specific discipline. As you leave your Breakout Session, you will receive Session Handouts that are your required readings and ancillary materials for the module. Throughout the course you will engage in discussions and learn about how decisions made in one discipline affect another. You will also form a Task Force to solve a complex issue by working with multiple constituencies with divergent needs, all the while using an ethical lens a lens with a focus on social responsibility and the intersections of diversity, culture, and environment and how these differences affect best practices in management in their disciplines. The end result will be you on your way to becoming a highly effective transformational leader in your profession, one who formulates sustainable, ethically sound solutions to practical management problems encountered in a complex global environment.
