This course will introduce students to the challenges of governance, ethics, legal, and regulatory compliance through the eyes of information security professionals. Topics include compliance requirements in response to key mandates and laws, including Sarbanes-Oxley, HIPAA, Privacy, Gram-Leach-Bliley, the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCA), and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).
