This course introduces the foundational principles of cloud computing. Students will explore diverse cloud deployment models, investigate the complexities of virtualization, and develop a nuanced comprehension of cloud service models such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS). The course considers the impact of large data centers on society and the environment. This course provides students with practical experience configuring popular cloud platforms.
