General Chemistry examines topics including chemical nomenclature, measurement, states of matter, the atom, chemical bonding, solutions, stoichiometry, and thermochemistry, and how these apply in the world around us. The purpose of this course is to introduce you to the world of chemistry, which covers such topics as the structure of the atom and the basic physical laws that govern matter.
