Leaders and managers need to know the potential causes and how to sustain control of interruptions. This course examines the planning process in organizations to continually confront the unlikelihood of a disaster occurring and causing an unexpected interruption of normal operations. Specifically, it provides an overview of the key elements and strategies for implementing a crisis management program within an organization. Undertaking a business function analysis approach, the students will be able to define anticipated consequences when normal organizational operations disrupt and develop a recovery plan built around desired outcomes.
