Catalog description

The financial crisis of 2007 showed the importance of securities to our daily lives. This course focuses on the tools of fundamental analysis, the concept of risk and investment management. Students examine security valuation, risk measurement, portfolio diversification and portfolio performance measurement preparation of pro forma financial statements. The goal of the course is to provide students with a strong theoretical and applied understanding of the valuation of equity securities. View Sample Syllabus
