The ability to work toward a consensus and reduce potential conflicts in a variety of contexts is of utmost importance in today s society. This course provides an overview of mediation processes, based upon conflict resolution theory. Students will learn a variety of communication and negotiation skills, in order to settle disputes outside of a courtroom setting.
