Catalog description

Biostatistics is the development and application of statistical, mathematical, and computational methods applied to public health, health care, and biomedical, clinical and population-based research. Students will understand the role that biostatistics play in designing, conducting, and analyzing research studies in areas of health and disease. Topics will include data description, probability, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, contingency tables, and regression.
