INTRODUCTION TO COASTAL WETLANDS MANAGEMENT

This course will focus on the science and management of coastal wetlands. Topics include wetland origin and development, indicators of a coastal wetland environment and an introduction to federal statutes and regulations protecting coastal wetlands as adopted by the environmental Protection Agency (EPA), as well as the effects of sea level and urban development.
