This course stresses microeconomic theories. Topics studied include the theory and application of supply and demand elasticity, the theory of consumer demand, utility, and indifference curve analysis; law of diminishing returns in production ranging from pure competition to pure monopoly; production theory and the theory of income distribution; comparative advantage, trade policies, exchange rates and balance of payments.
