Catalog description

Introduces students to the core components and subsystems that enable spacecraft to operate in the space environment. The course covers structural design, power systems, propulsion, communications, thermal control, and attitude determination and control. Students explore how these subsystems interact and are integrated to support mission objectives and constraints. Emphasis is placed on systemslevel thinking and the design tradeoffs involved in developing functional, reliable spacecraft.
