SOLAR ENERGY AND PHOTOVOLTAICS

Catalog description

This course will examine solar cell and photovoltaic module technologies and applications. Students will learn about the design, development, and monitoring of PV systems for use in residential, commercial, industrial and agricultural applications. The use of PV systems in support of other sustainable technologies will be examined. This course will also address the market potential, policies, life cycle, and environmental impacts of PV technology.
