Catalog description

This course introduces students to the discipline of financial and managerial accounting in the context of the Triple Bottom Line. Students will gain a foundational knowledge of the preparation of financial statements and their analytical use. The course also explores use of accounting and financial information in the decision-making process of guiding organizations to meet the triple bottom line (strong profits, healthy environment, and vital communities).
