Catalog description
Examines neurological, environmental, and cognitive factors that influence acquisition and retention of new information or new behaviors. Emphasis on historical theories of classical and instrumental conditioning and how they relate to stimulus control of behavior and animal cognition, including memory. Explores areas of applied learning. Learning concepts reinforced with interaction with a virtual reality program. Prerequisites: Psychology 121.
