Catalog description

Focuses on individuals, families, and groups within the community. Emphasis is on preventative care and chronic disease management on both an individual-level and system-level. Examines health of the community including vulnerable populations, health education principles, communicable diseases, epidemiology, environmental health hazards, disaster management, policy advocacy, and emerging technologies. Prerequisite:All 100 and 200 level nursing courses, NUTR 304. Corequisite: NURS T310
