Focuses on individuals, families, and groups within the community. Emphasis is on preventative care and chronic disease management on both an individual-level and system-level. Examines health of the community including vulnerable populations, health education principles, communicable diseases, epidemiology, environmental health hazards, disaster management, policy advocacy, and emerging technologies.
