Catalog description

This course builds on foundational medical-surgical nursing concepts, emphasizing the integration of all body systems in the care of adult patients. Students will apply critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice to manage acute and chronic conditions. Course content includes assessment, pathophysiology, and interventions for cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, renal, endocrine, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and integumentary disorders, as well as immune and hematologic conditions.
