Catalog description
This course is designed to introduce students to the therapeutic modalities of nursing, with an emphasis on therapeutic communication. Concepts of caring including person-centered care, self-care, health promotion, inclusion, grief and education will be included. Prerequisites: Admission in the Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Program (ABSN). This is a second-degree program.
