Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce students to the foundations of the professional role of the nurse. The course explores historical aspects, educational requirements, social integration, professionalism, legal and ethical guidelines, scope and standards of practice, system-based practice settings, for professional nursing practice. Prerequiste: Admission in the Accelerated Bachelor of Nursing Program (ABSN). This is a second-degree program.
