Catalog description
Focuses on individuals,families, and groups within the community. Emphasis on vulnerable populations, their health, and the provision of health care. Examines health of the community including communicable disease, environmental health hazards, mortality and morbidity, and epidemiology (3 clock hours). Placement: Senior. Prerequisites: All 300- level nursing courses or admission to the RN to BSN program. Corequisite: Nursing 468.
