Catalog description

For students whose primary language is not English. Builds on writing skills studied in English Language 108 and applies these to compositions, reaction papers, and research papers. Emphasis centers on vocabulary choice, syntax, conciseness, and reader-interest techniques. Prerequisites: Complete EL-108 with a grade of C- or better demonstrated proficiency in UE's writing sample.
