Internship Implementing Language Arts and Social Studies Curriculum (4)Coordinates the teaching of language arts and social studies in the elementary school. Gives students an opportunity to apply skills and methodology learned in language arts, reading, children's literature, and social studies courses in actual classroom situations in individualized, small group, and whole group teaching situations. Supervision by the classroom teacher and the university supervisor blends theory, research, methodology, and practical experience in teaching the language arts and social studies in the elementary classroom. Additional internship hours required. Prerequisites: EDUC 300 (Admission to teacher education). Fall.
