Catalog description

This is the second in a two-course series exploring normal anatomy and physiologic processes. Disorders, diseases, and syndromes involving all major body systems are addressed. Topics include diseases of the cardiovascular, respiratory, central nervous, musculoskeletal, endocrine, renal, and hepatobiliary system as well as pathophysiological changes in the geriatric patient. The course focuses on the pathogenesis, clinical presentation, laboratory findings, prognosis, medical intervention and basic implications related to the administration of anesthesia.
