Catalog description

Principles of electricity and electronics for unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) and aviation technologies. Direct- and alternating-current (DC/AC) circuit behavior, electron theory, and relationships among voltage, current, resistance, and power. Series, parallel, and compound circuits with solid-state components. Electric motors, electronic speed controllers (ESCs), and flight controllers. Lithium-polymer (Li-Po) battery systems, charging, diagnostics, and safety protocols. UAS communication and telemetry fundamentals, including ground control station (GCS) setup and configuration. Prerequisites: None.
