Catalog description

Foundations of 3D design principles and additive manufacturing workflows. Topics include history and applications of 3D printing, computer-aided design (CAD) modeling for printability, slicing software and printer setup, materials and process selection, and post-processing techniques. Emphasis on the complete workflow from concept sketch to functional printed prototype using industry-standard software and desktop printers. Prerequisites: None.
