Introduction to aviation safety principles, programs, and practices. Topics include the evolution of Safety Management Systems (SMS) and safety culture, hazard identification and Safety Risk Management (SRM), pilot psychology and physiology, human factors, accident review and investigation processes, and application of safety theories and regulatory requirements to aviation and uncrewed aircraft system (UAS) operations. Prerequisites: None.
