Reviews theories and research relating to the causes and consequences of drug use and drug culture. Explores the demographics, patterns and cultural determinants of drug use to understand the individual, group and societal impact of drugs. Considers societal and governmental responses to drug use, including treatment, prevention, and policy. Prerequisites: None.
