Catalog description

Designed to provide an overview of pathophysiologic principles, epidemiology, comprehensive assessment, differential diagnosis, and pharmacology for various medical conditions and emergencies. Develops psychomotor skills in the paramedic scope of practice through sequenced lab simulations. Prepares students to implement a management plan in the Paramedic scope of practice for various medical emergencies including but not limited; to gynecologic, obstetric, pediatric, and geriatric emergencies, neonatal care, and patients with special challenges.
