Introduction to Pharmacy Practice

Catalog description

This course provides a basic overview of the pharmacy industry to prepare students for an entry level pharmacy technician role. Students will be introduced to the knowledge and skills required for a pharmacy technician including roles and responsibilities, anatomy, physiology and health science, as well as pharmacology, scope of practice and federal laws and regulations.
