Low Clarinet Choir

Catalog description

This ensemble brings together the full range of the low clarinet family, potentially including basset horn, E-flat alto clarinet, bass clarinet, contralto clarinet, and contrabass clarinet. Students will explore a diverse repertoire that includes newly commissioned pieces, original works composed specifically for low clarinet ensemble, and transcriptions from a variety of cultural, historical, and stylistic periods. Prerequisites: None.
