Introduces fundamental mechanical, electrical, and process systems used in semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Covers basic principles of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, vacuum technology, hand tools, chemical/gas handling, electrical systems, and electronic sensors. Emphasis on safety procedures, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting fundamentals, and technician responsibilities in a cleanroom environment. Prepares students for entry-level technician positions in semiconductor manufacturing facilities. Prerequisites: None.
