Catalog description

Academically challenging course where students study, practice and apply the fundamentals of Army leadership, officership, Army values and ethics, personal development and small-unit tactics at the platoon level. Requires the student to demonstrate writing skills and present information briefings as preparation for development in becoming a successful future officer. Includes reading assignments, homework assignments, small group assignments, briefings, case studies, practical exercises, a mid-term exam and final exam. Also includes physical training assessments, tactical training, as well as lecture-based instruction.
