Catalog description

Fundamental principles of air conditioning including all-air, all-water (hydronic) and air-water combination systems. Overview of the physical principles, including air distribution systems and heating and cooling load calculation. System components and application theory for boilers, chillers, pumps, fans, and cooling towers. Theory and application of central air conditioning systems, air cleaning and humidification devices, pressure boosting, heat storage, expansion and pressurization equipment. Properties of water, pressure distribution in hydronic systems, flow in pipes, pressure drop/head loss, pump applications and pressurization of open and closed hydronic systems. Fundamentals of low and high temperature water systems.
